Terms of Use
Effective date: to be set
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and H4CF2, LLC (“H4CF,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They cover h4cf.com and the products we run: LetterCircuit, Penspoke, TxtSndr, and Homes For Cash Fast (each a “Product”). Part 1 applies to every Product. Part 2 adds the rules for each Product where they differ. If a Product rule in Part 2 conflicts with Part 1, the Product rule wins for that Product.
By creating an account, checking a box to accept these Terms, or using a Product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Product. Nothing in these Terms or on our sites is legal, tax, financial, or real estate advice.
Part 1. Rules for every Product
1. Who may use our Products
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. If you use a Product for an organization, you confirm you are allowed to bind that organization, and “you” includes it.
2. Your account
Some Products need an account. You are responsible for what happens in your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Tell us promptly through that Product’s contact channel (see section 12) if you think someone else has used your account.
3. Prices and payment
For LetterCircuit and Penspoke, the price is shown to you before you approve an order, and a later price change never affects an order you have already approved. Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number. Prices may not include taxes you owe. Our Refund Policy at h4cf.com/refunds/ explains when money comes back to you.
4. Your content
“Your Content” means what you give a Product: messages, images, names, addresses, phone numbers, handwriting samples, and other material. You keep all rights to Your Content. You give us permission to store, process, and use Your Content only to run the Product for you and to keep records of your orders. You confirm you have the right to give us any information about other people that you provide, such as recipient names and addresses or phone numbers, and to have us use it for the Product.
5. What you may not do
You may not use any Product to send or submit content that:
- harasses, threatens, defames, or intimidates anyone;
- is unlawful, promotes unlawful activity, or violates someone else’s rights;
- misrepresents who is sending it or is meant to deceive the recipient about who is contacting them; or
- you do not have the right to send to that person.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or build a competing service from a Product. We may refuse, hold, or decline any order or message, and may suspend or close an account, if we reasonably believe it breaks these Terms or the law. We do not pre-screen content, but we may act on it.
6. Our property
We own the Products and everything in them other than Your Content, including our software, designs, and trademarks. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Products under these Terms.
7. Mail and delivery
LetterCircuit and Penspoke write and mail physical pieces. We are not the postal carrier. Once a piece is mailed, the United States Postal Service or another carrier handles it, and delivery times and outcomes are outside our control. We do not guarantee that a piece will arrive by any date, or at all. Any timing we show is an estimate, not a promise. We rely on the address you give us. Address checking improves formatting but does not guarantee delivery.
8. Disclaimers
The Products are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that a Product will be uninterrupted or error free.
9. Limit on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about a Product or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) what you paid us for the order the claim is about, or (b) all amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event that led to the claim. Some places do not allow some of these limits, so some may not apply to you.
10. Indemnity
You agree to cover us, and our officers, members, and employees, against any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, that arises from Your Content, information you give us about other people, your use of a Product, or your breaking these Terms or the law.
11. Ending use
You may stop using a Product and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect the Product or other users. Sections that by their nature should continue after your access ends, including sections 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 13, and 14, continue.

13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute not covered by another agreed process is the state and federal courts in Alameda County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction. TxtSndr is the exception described in Part 2, section C.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If we make a material change, we will update the effective date and take reasonable steps to tell you, such as by email or a notice in the Product. Changes apply going forward. If you keep using a Product after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
Part 2. Product rules
A. LetterCircuit
LetterCircuit writes and mails cards and letters for you. Each piece is written with a real pen by a writing machine called a pen plotter, in the handwriting style you choose, with real ink on real paper.
- Account and workspace. You need an account. We create one workspace for your account. It holds your contacts, messages, orders, and settings.
- Prepaid wallet. LetterCircuit uses a prepaid wallet. You add funds, and we draw on that balance to pay for the pieces you order.
- Price and postage. Each order shows a per-piece price plus postage before you approve it. Postage is a separate line charged at the rate shown for each piece at the time of your order.
- No cash-out. Wallet funds are prepayment for LetterCircuit. They are not a deposit account, a cash equivalent, or a stored-value instrument. Except where the law requires a refund, wallet funds cannot be withdrawn as cash and can be used only to pay for LetterCircuit.
- Approval. When you approve an order, you authorize us to write and mail its pieces using the message, recipient addresses, and handwriting style you chose. You are responsible for checking the message, recipients, and addresses before you approve.
- Hold, then capture. At approval we place a hold on your wallet for each piece’s price and postage. We capture (charge) the held amount for a piece when we write it. If we do not write a piece, we do not capture the funds for it and we release its hold.
- Cancelling. You may cancel a piece any time before it enters production, which is when we begin writing it. Once a piece enters production it cannot be cancelled. To cancel, use the cancellation option in LetterCircuit or contact us through the contact form at lettercircuit.com/contact. We release the wallet hold for any piece you cancel before production.
- Address checking. We may send recipient addresses to Google and the United States Postal Service to check and standardize them.
- Handwriting samples. If you upload handwriting samples to create a custom style, you confirm you have the right to upload them. We use them, and the style we make from them, only to write and mail your pieces, including staff quality review. We keep them while the style exists in your workspace and delete them when you delete the style or close your account, or sooner if you ask.
- Status. LetterCircuit reports a piece as written and as mailed. We do not report or confirm delivery.
- Closing your account. Any wallet balance is handled under rule 4 (no cash-out), subject to refunds the law requires.
B. Penspoke
Penspoke is a LetterCircuit app for sending a greeting card. Each card is written with a real pen by a writing machine called a pen plotter, in real ink, and handed to the United States Postal Service.
- Your card. You choose a card front and write a message. We write it and hand it to the United States Postal Service to deliver to the recipient you name.
- Price and postage. The card price and postage for your order are shown before you approve it.
- Approval and cancelling. When you approve an order, you authorize us to write and mail it with the message, recipient, and card front you chose. You can cancel a card any time before we start writing it. Once a card is written it cannot be cancelled, recalled, changed, or stopped.
- Deleting your account with an unwritten card. If you delete your account while a card you paid for has not been written, we pause that order during the 30-day account recovery window and do not write or mail it. If your account is then permanently deleted, we cancel the unwritten order and refund what you paid for it.
- Order records. While your account is open, we keep the recipient details, billing details, and message on your order so you can see your order history. When you delete your account, we remove those details and keep only a redacted record of the order and payment for seven years from the order date, then delete it.
C. TxtSndr
TxtSndr sends text message reminders, such as trash and recycling pickup reminders, to people who have signed up for them.
TxtSndr has its own terms and privacy policy at txtsndr.com.
- Its own terms govern. TxtSndr is offered under its own Terms of Service at txtsndr.com/terms, which name the company responsible for TxtSndr and the law that governs them. Where those terms differ from this document, those terms control for TxtSndr.
- Messaging consent. A customer may not enroll anyone without valid, documented consent. A resident opts in to the specific reminder messages described at the point of sign-up. Marketing or promotional texts need separate, documented consent and are not part of the reminder service.
- Consent records. The consent record (phone number, property, timestamp, source, and the exact disclosure version) is kept as the law requires and may be relied on to show consent.
- Opting out. Reply STOP to any TxtSndr message to opt out. On STOP or a clear equivalent, further messages stop.
- Reminders are a courtesy. Reminders are informational only. You remain responsible for confirming official collection schedules. We do not guarantee that a reminder will be delivered or that a hauler will collect on any date.
D. Homes For Cash Fast
Homes For Cash Fast buys residential property in the Bay Area for cash.
- A form is a request, not an offer. Submitting your property on our site asks us to look at it. It does not create an offer, a contract, or any duty for you or us to buy or sell.
- Offers. We send any cash offer to you by email or phone. Only a written purchase agreement signed by both sides binds either side. Nothing on our site is a promise of a price, a closing date, or an outcome.
- No obligation. You do not have to accept any offer. Homes For Cash Fast does not charge you a fee for submitting a form or receiving an offer.
- Calls and texts. If you check the consent box on our form, you agree that Homes For Cash Fast may contact you at the number you gave, including by autodialed calls and texts, about the sale of your property. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out.
- Get your own advice. Selling a home has legal, tax, and financial effects. We encourage you to talk with your own attorney, tax advisor, or financial advisor before you sign anything.
